RIOTS HELP THE RIGHT WING

Detroit 1967

The Economist suggests that riots help the 'right wing'.

(Bagehot: After the inferno The Economist)

In 1967, in President Johnson's USA, there were riots in Detroit and elsewhere.

The US media linked young people to drugs, wild sex and anti-war activity.

The right-wing Richard Nixon benefited from the riots and 'moral decline' and was elected president in 1969.

Brixton 1981

In 1981 and in 1985 there were riots in Brixton in London, in prime minister Margaret Thatcher's Britain.

The right-wing Margaret Thatcher appeared to benefit from the riots as she remained in power until 1990.

In 2005 there were riots in France.

The riots appeared to help the right-wing Nicolas Sarkozy become president in 2007.

The 2011 riots in England may help the right-wing UK prime minister David Cameron to stay in power.

Cameron wants to cut spending on welfare.

Riots in Obama's USA could benefit some right-wing Republican.

~~

What have been the results of the riots in Egypt?

The generals currently run the country.

What have been the results of the riots in Tunisia?

The generals currently run the country.

What was the result of the 1998 riots in Jakarta?

The current president of Indonesia is a former Suharto general, Susilo Yudhoyono.

~~

We are not suggesting that the 'left-wing' is necessarily 'better' than the 'right-wing'.

In the USA, both President Johnson and President Nixon supported the Military-Industrial-Narco-Complex.

The leaders of both the 'right' and the 'left' are apparently chosen by the 'bad guys'.

"The leaders of both the 'right' and the 'left' are apparently chosen by the 'bad guys'".

"Elections" are mistakenly interpreted by the voters. It should read "Selections".

Voters are brainwashed enough to legitimize these selections by the cartel.

Aang, Left Wing or Right Wing is one and the bloody same shit. The Right Wing (Rep or Reppies, lol) wants to take away ur rights, while The Left Wing (Libs) wants to take away ur liberties. Whats the difference? None, only in the surface and only for the sheeple.

Watching the UK news-propaganda tonight its clear there will be a major drive on 'communitarianism' - fewer individual rights, more responsibility to the 'community' (whoever big-brother says), social exclusion for the miscreants which requires: even more cameras, ubiquitous facial-recognition, probably a return of ID-cards and a Stasi style informant programme.

Its what the people want! We love Big Brother.

Not just riots. The Manson Family and Zodiac killer, Symbionese Liberation Army (CIA front) were all designed to attack the anti-war counter culture and youth in general. Shortly afterwards, we got the 70's and mindless disco.

I've found this blog superbly informative for a long time now but I can't agree with the idea that these were government inspired riots, irrespective of the fact that they may indeed lead to odd new laws brought in to 'protect us'.I hate to sound politically incorrect but in reality these riots were in fact racially motivated.
I'm a UK citizen but was abroad in Europe at the time of the UK riots. I think it's extraordinarily interesting that French and German newspapers were calling these race riots yet British mainstream press purported a different vision. This blog iteself made the point that there were no riots in Scotland, well there are fewer minorities north of the border.
